Currently, wireless networks are one of the most promising technologies.

The term wireless network is a term used in computer science to describe the connection of nodes without the need for a physical connection (cables), this occurs by means of electromagnetic waves. Transmission and reception are performed through ports. One of its main advantages manifests itself in the costs, since it eliminates all of the Ethernet cables and physical connections between nodes. On the other hand, you need a much more demanding and robust security against intrusion.

WiMAX, short for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, is a standard of data transmission using radio waves in frequencies ranging from 2.3 to 3.5 Ghz.

It is a technology referred to as last mile technology, also known as the local loop, which allows the reception of data by microwaves and radio wave broadcasting. One of its advantages is to provide broadband services in areas where the deployment of cable or fiber optic cable poses very high costs per user due to under populated (rural) areas.
